A critical piece of equipment that arrives late, or arrives on time but with defects, can delay an entire project or compromise the safety of a facility. This course teaches you to follow up critical equipment orders from award to shipment. You will learn to plan expediting according to the level of risk, read supplier schedules and spot signs of delay; interpret inspection and test plans (ITP) and hold, witness and review points; prepare and attend factory acceptance tests (FAT), with punch lists and conditional acceptance; manage third-party inspection and handle non-conformities and concession requests; and check the manufacturing record book, issue the release note and prepare packing and shipping documents. Based on international good practice in the oil and gas sector, with an Excel exercise, decision scenarios and downloadable checklists. The course is delivered in Portuguese.
