The first of two Finance for Non-Finance courses. Short units explain accountancy and finance in plain language: commonly used financial terms, the three main accounting statements, the profit and loss statement, the balance sheet and the cash flow statement, why cash does not equal profit, capital vs revenue expenditure, depreciation, working capital, ratio analysis and keeping financial records. Each unit combines a short video with a quick quiz and downloadable resources such as an action plan, a cheat sheet and session notes. Based on UK best practice. Course in English.
