Level 3 of the 7 Levels of Delegation is characterized by giving team members the authority to make recommendations while still retaining some oversight. In this level, the leader encourages team members to evaluate a situation and present their proposed solutions. The team is responsible for gathering information, analyzing it, and then suggesting the best course of action. The leader ultimately holds the decision-making power but values and considers the input of the team. This approach empowers team members, builds their confidence, and promotes engagement, while allowing the leader to remain involved in critical decision-making.
