Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the website remember information between pages and visits, for example that you are logged in or what is in your cart.

trident-academy.com uses cookies that are necessary for the Website to work or to provide a feature you request and, only with your permission, marketing cookies (Meta Pixel) to measure our ads. We do not use analytics cookies, and marketing cookies are only set after you click "Accept" in the cookie bar.

These marketing cookies are only set after you click "Accept" in the cookie bar; if you refuse, the Meta Pixel is not loaded. For the data that Meta Platforms Ireland Limited receives, see the "Cookies" section of our Privacy Policy.
2.7. Exact cookie names may include a unique code (shown as [hash] or [user id]).
2.8. The cookies listed in 2.1 to 2.5 and the tlms_px_lead cookie are set by the Website itself (first-party). The _fbp cookie is set by the Meta Pixel code of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, only after you accept. When you pay, the payment page of our payment provider, WiPay, may set its own cookies needed to process the payment, under the provider's own policy.
Consent
3.1. Necessary cookies (sections 2.1 to 2.5) are essential for the Website to work and do not require your consent.
3.2. Marketing cookies (section 2.6) require your consent. On your first visit, we show a cookie bar at the bottom of the screen, with "Accept" and "Refuse" buttons of equal prominence and a link to the Privacy Policy. The Meta Pixel is only loaded after you click "Accept"; if you refuse, it is not loaded and nothing is sent to Meta.
3.3. Your choice is stored for 12 months in the tlms_consent cookie. You can change it or withdraw your consent at any time under "Cookie preferences" in the site footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before.
3.4. The cookie bar and the Meta Pixel are used only on trident-academy.com. They are not used on company academy sites (for example, sonangol.trident-academy.com).
How to control cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the necessary cookies listed above, you will not be able to log in, buy courses or keep your language choice.
