How do you turn a set of safety rules into a system that works in the field, involves workers and improves every year? In this advanced course you work through ISO 45001 clause by clause, with plain-language explanations and practical examples: the PDCA cycle and the harmonised structure shared with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, the context of the organisation and interested parties (including the decision on climate change), leadership and worker participation, planning based on hazards, risks, opportunities and legal requirements, support, operational control with the hierarchy of controls, management of change and of contractors, performance evaluation, internal audit, management review and improvement. It ends with a gap analysis and an implementation plan at a fictitious mining company. Aligned with ISO 45001 and the ILO-OSH 2001 guidelines; the course does not certify organisations or qualify certification auditors. The course is delivered in Portuguese.
