Offshore platforms, mines in isolated regions and large construction sites have something in common: people work for weeks on end away from home, on long shifts, and live at the workplace. In this advanced course you will learn to manage people in these settings: compare rotation schedules (14/14, 21/21, 28/28, unequal cycles) and calculate crews and average hours, plan mobilisations, travel, documents and certificates, assess accommodation and life in camps and on board against international references (ILO, IFC/EBRD guidance), prevent harassment, manage fatigue and protect mental health, support families and retain rotational teams. With two integrated cases (a fictitious offshore operator and a fictitious mine), Excel calculations, interactive images, decision scenarios and downloadable templates. It does not replace certified practical safety and survival training. Designed for HR in oil and gas, mining and construction. The course is delivered in Portuguese.
