An inspection tells you whether the fire extinguisher is charged; an audit tells you whether the system that keeps it charged works. In this advanced course you learn to audit HSE performance from end to end, aligned with ISO 19011 and ISO 45001: distinguish the types of audit and apply the principles of auditing, build a risk-based programme and a plan for each audit, collect evidence in the field through sampling, interviews and observation, verify permits to work, isolations and contractors on site, evaluate compliance with the applicable law and other requirements, write and grade findings, run the closing meeting, write the report and follow up corrective actions through to their effectiveness, evaluating and improving the programme itself. With a continuous case at a fictitious fuel terminal, decision scenarios and downloadable templates. The course is delivered in Portuguese.

What you will learn
